ANTITRUST AND FOREIGN INVESTMENT
Led by Hazel Yin, formerly a partner and co-head of China antitrust at global law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, RuiMin’s antitrust and foreign investment team brings together leading PRC and US-qualified antitrust lawyers, including those from band-1 ranked international and PRC firms. The team boasts a strong track record in handling complex merger filings, foreign investment and national security reviews arising from cross-border M&A transactions, as well as antitrust compliance and investigations.
The team maintains close relationships with antitrust regulators around the world, including China’s State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR), which is at the forefront of the country’s anti-monopoly legislative architecture. We regularly provide training to SAMR and are often invited to speak at government-sponsored events. This enables us to anticipate any antitrust challenges before they arise and devise solutions that ensure transactions stay on track.
Our diverse backgrounds, global perspectives and extensive practical experience enable us to offer bespoke solutions that are tightly integrated with clients’global strategies.
